Feb Bible Studies- Week 8 - Day 5

Scripture

Psalm 51:2-4

Wash away all my iniquity
    and cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I know my transgressions,
    and my sin is always before me.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
    and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict
    and justified when you judge.

Observation

Clean yourself from the evils of SIN.  Know where your weakness are an atone for your sins. 

Application

Nobody is perfect. Everyone does have their weaknesses and also imperfectness.  GOD is the ultimate judge so do be prepared for the final judgement from him. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

I know that I am imperfect. You are the one who are able to help and save me. 

AMEN. 

Feb Bible Studies- Week 8 - Day 4

Scripture

Psalm 18: 6

In my distress I called to the Lord;
    I cried to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice;
    my cry came before him, into his ears.

Observation

God hears when we call out to him. He knows when we need him the most. 

Application

Cry out to the LORD our GOD. Pour our troubles and worries to him.  He will listen to us and guide us on the correct path. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I cry out to you to deliver me from this turmoil which is in my life. I desire peace and stability and I know you will grant me this in your time. 

AMEN.

Feb Bible Studies- Week 8-Day 3

Scripture

Psalm 100

A psalm. For giving grateful praise.

1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2     Worship the Lord with gladness;
    come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
    It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Observation

Give thanks for GOD being in your life. Know that he is one who will take care of your for the rest of your life. 

Application

Believe in GOD. He is certainly there for you. Praise him for all the blessings and  gifts that he has showered on you.  Be thankful for all the things that he gives you. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

I'm thankful for you being there for me. You are certainly my pillar of strength and I am blessed to have you in my life.

Feb Bible Studies- Week 8 - Day 1

Scripture

Psalm 5:3New International Version (NIV)

3 In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
    in the morning I lay my requests before you
    and wait expectantly.

Observation

God hears and see what you do. He knows what you need and will provide them to you in his time. 

Application

Talk to the LORD and let him know what troubles you. Let him hear your requests and give it all up to him to handle. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

I enjoy the moments that I spend talking to you each morning. Seeking you at the start of each day gives me the peace and calm that I need.

AMEN. 

Feb Bible Studies- Week 7 - Day 5

Scripture

John 1:16New International Version (NIV)

16 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.

Ephesians 3:20-21New International Version (NIV)

20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Observation

Praise GOD as he has given us all that we need and much more. He certainly deserves all the GLORY we can give him. 

Application

God does work wonders. He has given us the grace that we need. Praise and thanks to the almighty. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

thank you for showing me with your graces. Your blessing really nourishes my soul. AMEN

Feb Bible Studies- Week7- Day 3

Scripture

Psalm 37:7

Be still before the Lord
    and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
    when they carry out their wicked schemes.

Observation

Even though it seems that the wicked are having the upper hand at the moment it won't last long. Good will triumph over evil. It is all in GOD's timing. 

Application

Trust and be patient in the LORD. It may not be easy and sometimes you may want instant answers but believe that everything will be good and well. He has plans for you and will reveal them to you via this timeline. He knows what is best for us and will certainly give us what we need. 

Prayer

Dear Lord,

It can be frustrating at times when things seem to take eternity to get done or when the evil one seems to be gloating over his successes in attempts to make life difficult for you. Even though I face these challenges I trust that things will work out in my favour and that you are always there for me, caring and protecting me. My soul sings praises for you and I will wait for the things that you promise me.

Feb Bible Studies- Week 7 - Day 2

Scripture

1  Samuel 1: 1-20

20 Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the Lord.

Observation
God does make good on his promises to you. Like Hannah who yearned for a child she too got her wish in the end. 

Application
It is all in GOD's timing that things get done.  We have to be patient and be assured that it will be given to us in the correct time. 

Prayer
Dear LORD,
I do know that you will carry out all promises to us. What we pray for will be delivered to us but in your time.
AMEN

Feb Bible Studies- Week 7 - Day 1

Scripture
2 Corinthians 12: 8-9
 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me

Observation
God gives you this trials so that you may be strong and overcome your weaknesses. 
He does give you the tools to overcome all evil. 

Application
seek the LORD in your weaknesses so that he is able to give you the strength to see you through the trials that come your way. He will give you the graces that you need to sustain yourself. 

Prayer
Dear LORD,
I too have prayed that you help remove the thorn in my flesh. I know that you as an ever loving father has and will help me through this current phase. 
AMEN. 

Feb Bible Studies- Week 6- Day 4

Scripture
Matthew 7: 7-11
1“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Observation
Ask and you will receive. GOD knows what you want and will give you what you need.
Be proactive and you will get what you want.

Application
Seek what you need from the LORD. He and he alone is able to provide what everything you need.
Our Father will take care of us and take care of us.

Prayer
Dear LORD,
love that you are there for us. I'm very blessed that you provide for us.
AMEN.

Feb Bible Studies- Week 6 - Day 3

Scripture

Psalm 34:18

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
    and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Observation

GOD knows what you are going through. All the pain and torture that others have inflicted upon you. He knows your suffering and will deliver you from your torment. 

Application

Trust the LORD your GOD in all that you do, He knows everything  and will be the one that will set you free.  The struggles that you are going through are only temporary and he will deliver you from the sufferings that have been inflicted to you by this world. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

I know that you are near and that you are always with me. No matter what obstacles I face in life you are there to hold my hand and guide me along the way. I'm really blessed to have you in my life.

AMEN.

Feb Bible Studies- Week 6- Day 2

Scripture

1 John 5: 14

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

Observation

It is known that GOD is a receptive one. He is one that can give us the solutions that we need for our problems.

Application

Don't be afraid when you reach out to GOD.He is there for you and is more then willing to be there to hear your problems and also gives you the solutions for it. 

Prayers

Dear LORd,

I am glad that you are there for me and I am very happy to be able to go with you to confide all my problems and worries and that you help me solve all the issues that are troubling in my life.

AMEN. 

Feb Bible Studies- Week 6- Day 1

Scripture

Roman 5:2

 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[b] boast in the hope of the glory of God.

Observation

God provides you with the things that you need to keep moving and staying fit and healthy.  He gives us the tools that we need to lead our lives the right way. 

Application

We are blessed to be able to know GOD. He is someone who is extremely generous with us. We just need to accept and soak in the gifts that he has given to us to fully understand his blessings. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

I'm really blessed to have you in my life. Through you I am slowly healing from the wounds that have been inflicted onto me by others and life. 

AMEN. 

Feb Bible Studies- Week 5- Day 5

Scripture

Luke 6: 27-28

Love for Enemies

27 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

Observation

God teaches us to be merciful. Be nice to those who are least deserving of it too. 

Application

God doesn't want you to be bitter. He wants you to lead a peaceful life without grudges. Prayers can result in miracles. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

it is certainly not easy to love people who harm and hurt you.  However I know that it is in my best interest to remove my hate and bitterness towards them.

AMEN. 

Feb Bible Studies- Week 5- Day 4

Scripture
1 Timothy 2: 1-2
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness

Observation
Pray to the LORD. Pray for others so that we can all live peaceful lives in according to the WORD.

Application
Give thanks and prayer for those around you. For our leaders so they will be wise in their judgement and help build up a peaceful and safe world for us. 

Prayer
Dear LORD,
I pray that we have wise leaders who can help stablise our country and our living here .
AMEN. 

Feb Bible Studies- Week 5- Day 2

Scripture

Matthew 26:41

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Observation

One can easily stray unless you have faith  in GOD.  There are many temptations in this world which may lead to your downfall. 

Application

Stay rooted in the LORD your GOD. He will keep you away from all the evils of this world which will only harm your soul. Pray constantly for his protection and for wisdom to keep your 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

I pray for your constant guidance and protection from the evils of this world.
