December Bible Studies- Week 4- Day 2

Scripture

Colossians 2:3

In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Observation

God knows everything. One can never hide anything from him.  He has infinite wisdom and is more then willing to share with us what he knows through his WORD and actions. 

Application

We need to constantly seek GOD to increase our wisdom of how to carry out his WORD. Learn more and more by reading the books that he has prepared for us. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

thanks for sharing your infinite wisdom with me and making me into a better person. 

AMEN. 

November Bible Studies- Week 4- Day 1

Scripture

Isaiah 28:29

All this also comes from the Lord Almighty,
    whose plan is wonderful,
    whose wisdom is magnificent.

Observation

God know what you wants and does plan everything for you.  He has a plan on how you can live a better life and shares it with you so that you may benefit from it. 

Application

Everything that we need comes from the LORD. He has a good and wise plan for use to follow/ execute. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

thanks for providing me with everything that I need in this life.

AMEN

November Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 5

Scripture

33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Observation

Cast all our troubles to GOD.  He is the person who will be helping you and giving you the peace that is needed.

Application

Leave all your troubles and worries to GOD. They are not something which you be able to solve with your own capabilities. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

I know that I will never be trouble free during my time here on this earth. However having your assurance that you will provide me with the peace that I need will certainly help to sustain me through all the rough patches which I may incur.

AMEN. 

November Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 4

Scripture

 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep,

Observation

The peace of the lord and all his power will bring Jesus back in his 2nd coming. He will never abandon us.

Application

Believe as it is the truth. GOD will be back for us. He doesn't leave us out in the lurch nor abandon us.  He will always be there for us and give us the peace that we need. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

I'm grateful that you have given me peace and constantly help me work out my own feelings and thoughts so that I am more in sync with you.

AMEN.

November Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 3

Scripture

 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Observation

The peace that GOD sends to you will transcends all time. It will give you a clear mind and let you understand his word more. 

Application

Allow the peace of GOD to be within you and let it shine from within. Use it to remain at balance with GOD and the world.  He is the one who can give you the type of peace you desire. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

thanks for the blessing of PEACE. I am able to go about doing your work and also living my life to the fullest.

November Bible Studies- Week3- Day 2

Scripture

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Observation

We will only get peace if we seek it in GOD. He is the one who can allay all our fears. 

Application

Focus on GOD and his word. In this way you will be able to allow yourself to be detached from issues of this world and only concentrate on what really and truly matters in GOD's eyes. Don't let fear be a factor that stifles you. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

thank you for offering PEACE to me and giving me such a precious gift.

November Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 1

Scripture

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
    and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

Observation

Give praise to the LORD.  He is the one who can give us peace.  Blessed are we who have been given his favor. 

Application

We are really blessed to be able to gain GOD's favor. He does  deserve our praise and gratitude. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

I am really blessed to be in your favor. Thanks for showering all your love and trust in me.

November Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 5

Scripture

Know that the Lord is God.
    It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Observation

God is our creator. He is the one who made us and gave us what we have. We belong to him.

Application

Knowing one's roots and creator will make one more grateful about being here on earth. Understand who is the one who put you here on the earth and do not get swayed by the EVIL one. 

Prayer

Dear GOD ,

I do know that it is because of you that I exist. I fully understand that I come from you and am yours. 

AMEN. 

November Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 4

Scripture

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Observation

God in mindful of each and every of his people/ sheep. He is happy even if only 1 person repents and turns away from their sinful ways. 

Application

GOD takes note of each one and everyone's achievements. He doesn't judge nor turn away and ignore the person who is changing for the better while minding to the others in his care.  We too should rejoice when our kids admit their errors and correct them. Every little encouragement helps. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

teach me to be more like you. To be able to  go all out and care for those under my protection. To be selfless in my actions.

November Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 3

Scripture

He tends his flock like a shepherd:     He gathers the lambs in his arms
and carries them close to his heart;     he gently leads those that have young.

Observation

Like  Father he takes care of his brood. He protects, shows them tenderness and guides them to the pastures. 

Application

GOD has been taking care of us like how a father/ mother cares for her child. We too should adopt the same attitude when we address our own kids. 

Treat our kids with the tenderness that they deserve and guide them. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

give me the wisdom and strength to be like you . So that I too can shepherd my flock.

AMEN. 

November Bible Studies- Week 2- Day2

Scripture

John  10:14-15

I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. 

Observation

God knows everyone and he does know all about you. He will lay down his life for me and protect me. 

Application

Trust and believe in the LORD. He does know you inside out and will protect and guide you like he does for all of his sheep. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

Thank you for taking me under your wing and adding me to your flock. With you as my guide I need not worry. 

AMEN

November Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 1

Scripture

Psalm 23:1-3

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2     He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters, 3      he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths     for his name’s sake.

Observation

God gives you all that you need in your life.  He knows what you require in every stage of your life and provides for it. Whenever you need him he will be there for you. 

Application

Trust in the LORD. He will certainly provide for you. There is nothing that you lack if you have him in your heart.  He is your guide and will be there to lead the way. 

Prayer

Dear God

Thanks for being there for me. To guide me and give me the knowledge that I need to live my life.

AMEN. 

November Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 5

Scripture

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Observation

God has given us  the tools that we need to stay clear from evils of this world that we live in. He gives us the hope that we need, gifts for us to use and also teaches us the skills that we need. 

Application

Be grateful for all the gifts and tools that GOD has given us. Put all that you have been given to good use and multiply the benefits so that others too may  be able to appreciate GOD's greatness. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

thanks for all the gifts that you have bestowed upon me. The time and effort that you have spent grooming me will not go to waste.

AMEN.

November Bible Studies- Week 1 - Day 4

Scripture

 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 

Observation

God provides for all and he will take care of you. Do not lust after earthly things or waste your time worrying over nothing. 

Application

Seek GOD in whatever you do and he will give you the guidance you need to sort out any problems/ obstacles that you maybe facing in your life at the current moment. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

help me to seek YE first in everything that I do. And trust that you will help in whatever I do.

AMEN. 

November Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 3

Scripture

Ephesians 3:20-21

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Observation

Give GOD praise and show gratitude as he has given us power through his WORD. He has done wonders for us and we should  praise him always.

Application

Being thankful for what we have, the gifts and blessing that GOD has bestowed upon us are really plenty. Show appreciation for what you have. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

help me start off each day with a grateful heart.

November Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 2

Scripture

Philippians 4: 19

 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Observation

God has always provided for us and we too need to meet his needs as his followers. We too must show our parts and be thankful / grateful for the gifts that he has bestowed on us. 

Application

Show appreciation for all the gifts that you have been given. Pray and seek the truth and follow the WORD . Gratitude is what needs to radiate out from us so that we can really live our lives according to GOD's plan. 

Prayer

Dear God,

help me to show appreciation to you  for your gifts and to be grateful for all the GOOD that I have in my life.

Nov Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 1

Scripture

Genesis 22:13-14

 Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram[a] caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”

Observation

God provides you with whatever you need when you need it. He knows what is best for you and gives you what is required.

Application

Have faith in GOD that he knows what is good for you and trust in him. He has provided for you and will always be providing for you so believe in his WORD.  Worrying and stressing over things lead nowhere  and only make your life more complicated. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

help me entrust in you all my worries and hopes and continue to believe that you will provide me all that is needed.
