March Bible Studies- Week 3 - Day 1

 

Scripture

He was not able to do a miracle there, except to lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. 6 And he was amazed because of their unbelief. Then he went around among the villages and taught

Observation

GOD creates miracles. He does things systematically.

Application

Expect the unexpected. GOD works in strange ways.

Prayer

Dear GOD give me strength. 

AMen. 

Feb Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 5

Scripture

When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd

and touched his cloak, 28 for she kept saying, “If only I touch his clothes,

I will be healed.” 29 At once the bleeding stopped, and she felt in her body

that she was healed of her disease

Observation

The woman had great faith and believed in GOD. She was cured as she believed. 

Application

 

Keep the faith there will be results.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

Help me keep the faith always. 

 

Feb Bible Studies Week 2- Day 3

 

Scripture

So he got up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Be quiet! Calm down!” Then the wind stopped, and it

was dead calm. 40 And he said to them, “Why are you cowardly? Do you still

not have faith?” 41 They were overwhelmed by fear and said to one another,

“Who then is this? Even the wind and sea obey him!”

Observation

Be brave. Don't be overpowered by the environment. Be bold and do what you have to do.

Application

Have faith and belief in yourself. Know what you have to do and go all out to do it.

Prayer

Dear GOD I seek your guidance for everything. AMEN.  

Feb Bible Studies- Week 2 Day 1

 

 Scripture

 For whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.”

Observation

 Those who follow GOD can be considered your family. 

Application

 Only when one has the same vision/ thought then can they be truly aligned with you and your thinking. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

keep me protected and in your grace. AMEN

Feb Bible Studies Week 1 Day 5

Scripture

Now  Jesus went up the mountain  and called for those he wanted, and

they came to him. 14 He appointed twelve so that they would be with him

and he could send them to preach  15  and to have authority to cast out

demons. 1

Observation

God chooses which ones he wants to be part of his family.

He knows your strengths and weaknesses.

Application

Take note of what GOD did and it's result   

Prayer

Dear GOD make me open to you amen.

 

Feb Bible Studies- Week 1 Day 4

Scripture

27  Then  he said to them, “The Sabbath was made

for people, not people for the Sabbath. 28 For this reason the Son of Man is

lord even of the Sabbath.”

Observation

IT is GOD who late the rules not man. 

Application

Be discerning about which is by GOD and which is amended and added by man. Not all that you read or hear about is the truth. 

Prayer

Dear LORd,

plse help me to be discerning about and help my kids see the truth in things. AMEN. 

 

Feb Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 3

 

Scripture

 When the experts in the law and the Pharisees saw that he

was eating with sinners and tax collectors, they said to his disciples, “Why

does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”  17  When Jesus heard this he

said to them, “Those who are healthy don’t need a physician, but those who

are sick do. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Observation

Jesus does not discriminate. He is there for everyone of us. 

Application

 Do not just look at outward appearances but study the true character of a person. 

Prayer

Dear LORd,

Keep me alert always.

AMen. 

Feb Bible Studies - Week 1- Day 2

 

Scripture

  Then  Jesus  got up early in the morning when it was still very dark,

departed, and went out to a deserted place, and there he spent time in

prayer. 

Observation

God shows us the way how he gets prepared. It is wise to observe what is happening around you

Application

It is good to spend some time alone and reflecting on what we want to do and then go out and do it.

Prayer

Dear GOD,

thank you for being there for me always.

AMEN.

Feb Bible Studies- Week1 - Day 1 -

 

Scripture

 He proclaimed, “One more powerful than I am is coming after me;

I am not worthy to bend down and untie the strap of his sandals. 8 I baptize

you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”

Observation

Back then GOD made the proclamation that will be coming back down to earth again to visit us. He will bestow his spirit upon his people. 

Application

 Understand what GOD has planned for us. Believe in his words and follow his plan so that we will be protected and blessed by him. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

help me understand more and more each day. 

Jan Bible Studies - Week 3 Day 1

 Scripture

Psalm 103:10-11

10 He does not deal with us as our sins deserve;

he does not repay us as our misdeeds deserve.

11 For as the skies are high above the earth,

so his loyal love towers over his faithful followers.

Obesrvation

GOD is not overly harsh on his followers. He knows how to groom us and make us worthy of his love. 

Application

Do note that GOD will guide you through the days and he will correct your errors.

Prayer

Dear LORd,thank you for being there for me. 

AMEN. 

Jan Bible studies- Shamebreaker- Week 2 - Day 1

Scripture

Jeremiah 31:3-4

3 In a faraway land the Lord will manifest himself to them.

He will say to them, ‘I have loved you with an everlasting love.

That is why I have continued to be faithful to you.

4 I will rebuild you, my dear children Israel,

so that you will once again be built up.

Once again you will take up the tambourine

and join in the happy throng of dancers

Observation

The LORD will keep good on all his promises to us.  He is always there to watch over us.

He will pick us up when we are down. 

Application

Trust in the LORD that he will ne there for you always. He knows what is best and will guide you all the way.

Prayer

Dear LORd,

thank you for always being there for me . AMEN. 

 

Dec Bible Studies Week 3- Day 3

 

Scripture

2 Corinthians 3:4-6

4 Now we have such confidence in God through Christ. 5 Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as if it were coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God, 6 who made us adequate to be servants of a new covenant not based on the letter but on the Spirit, for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Observation

Our strength comes from GOD. He is our pillar of support. He gives us life that we need.

Application

 Rejuvenate yourself in the LORD. With him as your nectar of life you will be able to see through everything. 

Prayer
Dear Lord,

thank you for being there for me always. Show me the way so that I can grow closer to you. AMEN. 

Dec Bible studies - Week 3- Covenant

 Scriptures

For God achieved what the law could not do because it was weakened through the flesh. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 so that the righteous requirement of the law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Observation

God send his son down to carry out his wishes. He shows us what can be done. 

Application

 Pay special attention to the words of GOD. As what he mentions will show you the way you should go while here on earth.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I'm blessed that you are here for me always. AMEN

Covenant Nov Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 1

Scripture

Matthew 22:36-40

36 “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” 37 Jesus said to him, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 The second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.”

Observation

 GOD tells us to treat others like how we would do for ourselves.  He only wants the best for us. 

Application

Do what GOD commands of you within parameters. 

Prayer.

Dear Lord,

Help me understand you more and more each day. Amen. 

 

Covanants - Nov Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 2

 

Scripture

12 And God said, “This is the guarantee of the covenant I am making with you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all subsequent generations: 13 I will place my rainbow in the clouds, and it will become a guarantee of the covenant between me and the earth.

Observation

God keeps all his promises. He gives us signs to show that he does remember and keeps his word.

Application

Keep your promises to GOD as he has done for you. There can never be another person who is so dedicated to your well-being and has your welfare at heart always. 

Prayer

Dear LORD , 

Do remind me often of the covenant that you had made for us and strengthen my belief that I will be with you forever. AMEN

Jesus is our everything- Sept bible studies- Week 1- Day 3 /4

 Scripture ( Wednesday)

Therefore we must pay closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away

    Observation

- Pay attention to our surrounding and listen carefully to the sounds we hear around us.

Application

Be focus to what is around you and absorb what works for you.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

be there for me amen. 

Jesus our Everything- Sept bible Studies- Week 1 - Day 1 /Day 2

Scripture
The Son is the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word, and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. 4 Thus he became so far better than the angels as he has inherited a name superior to theirs

Observation

God's words are enriching. His position gives him an advantage over others.

Application

Listen to the word of GOD it has much wisdom and also will help us through our days.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

thank you for imparting your wisdom to me. AMEN.

Day 2

Scripture

but of the Son he says,

“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,

and a righteous scepter is the scepter of your kingdom.

9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness.

So God, your God, has anointed you over your companions with the oil of rejoicing.”

Observation

God has chosen who is to be beside him.  He likes when people are not lawless.

Application

Follow the law and do what he wants of us so that we will be able to reap what he promises us

Prayer

Dear LORd,

thank you for providing for me. AMen. 

Sept Bible Studies Week 3 - Day 3

 Scripture

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 The one who has the Son has this eternal life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have this eternal life.

Observation

God is the one who controls everything. He is the one that directs. 

Application

Ensure that you have GOD within you. There is nothing that he can't do. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I'm puting my trust in you and I know that you will make it alright for me. 

AMEN. 

August Bible Studies Week 3- Day 1

 Scripture

And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has in us. God is love, and the one who resides in love resides in God, and God resides in him

Observation

GOD always loves us. He is there for us and we live in him.

Application

Embrace LOVE and GOD and you will be able to do better.

Prayer

Dear GOD ,

thank you for all your love. 

AMEN. 

August Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 5

Scripture

In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Observation

GOD does love us. He does have our best interest in heart. 

Application

Love GOD as much as he has loved you. 

Prayer,
