June Bible Studies- Week 4- Day 2

Scripture

A psalm of David.

1 Praise the Lord, who is my rock.
    He trains my hands for war
    and gives my fingers skill for battle.
2 He is my loving ally and my fortress,
    my tower of safety, my rescuer.
He is my shield, and I take refuge in him.
    He makes the nations[a] submit to me.

3 O Lord, what are human beings that you should notice them,
    mere mortals that you should think about them?
4 For they are like a breath of air;
    their days are like a passing shadow.

Observation

God does wonders. He gives you the skills that you need. He protects you from the enemy and cares for you. 

Application

God is always with you . He knows what you need and gives you what you should have. Be grateful for his guidance and adhere to his WORD. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I am thankful that you are always there for me. You guide me and are my light. 

AMEN. 

June Bible Studies- Week 4- Day 1

Scripture

And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him.

Observation

God will be with you if you take note and behave yourselves according to his WORD.

Application

Take note of your behavior. The devil is always around. He is ever ready to tempt you and make you make mistakes if you stray from the LORD.  Focus on the LORD and he will remove the obstacles the come your way. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

keep me steadfast in my faith and keep me calm and compose as I carry out your WORD.

Amen. 

June Bible Studies- Week 3 - Day 3

Scripture

John 1:14New International Version (NIV)

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Observation

Whatever is mentioned in the bible  happened in real life as GOD came down on earth to be with us. 

Application

GOD is alive and with us. His presence can be found around us. Praise the LORD and do what he expects of us.  Living a Christian life if what we should be doing. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

You word does become actions and what you do does help shape my life.

AMEN.  

June Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 3

Scripture

36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Observation

The kingdom of GOD awaits us. It is not here on earth as we know this world.  His people will protect him if he were at home. 

Application

God knows that we will be facing challenges here on this earth like he did when he was here. It is a test that we have to go through so that we may mature and be able to understand his teachings. 

Prayer

Dear Lord thank you for being here for me. I know that you are the bearer of truth and you will guide me through my life here on earth.

Amen. 

June Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 2

Scripture

And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before me.[b] Your throne shall be established forever.’”

Observation

The Blessings of the LORD await you in the next world. He is preparing a place for you in his home while you are on your journey here on earth.

Application

Look forward to the glories of the LORD. He has promised you riches which this world is unable to offer you. How you do here on earth will set the path for you in the next life. Work hard on making yourself the best that you can be. 

Prayer

Dear LORD, Thank you for reserving a place for me in your household. I appreciate all that you have done and constantly do for me.

AMEN. 

June bible studies- Week 2- Day 1

Scripture
David then took up residence in the fortress and called it the City of David. He built up the area around it, from the terraces[a] inward. 10 And he became more and more powerful, because the Lord God Almighty was with him.

Observation
God is always with you. He knows how to build you up and make you into a great person. He is always with us.


Application
Seek GOD for his direction and follow through on your promises to him. 
He will help you build yourself up and be the best version of yourself. 

Prayer
Dear LORD,
I seek you in your guidance and being there for me. You know how I can grow and move into my potential. I'm bless to have you as my mentor.
AMEN. 

June Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 4

Scripture

Isaiah 40:9-11King James Version (KJV)

9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

10 Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

Observation

God is all powerful and rules with a firm hand. He takes care of his sheep and protects them. 

Application

Trust that the LORD will take care of you and guide you through the valley of darkness. He will give you what you need and lead you on the right path. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I'm grateful that you are there for me and hold my hand when you lead me through the perils in life.

AMEN

June Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 3

Scripture

Ezekiel 34:15-16King James Version (KJV)

15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God.

16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

Ezekiel 34:31King James Version (KJV)

31 And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God.

Observation

The LORD GOD will be there to provide for us. He is our guide and will give us what we need to venture through this life here on earth. 

Application

Trust in the LORD GOD that he will bring us through all the obstacles that we may face in this life. He knows what is good for us and will protect us from all harm. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

thanks for all the assistance you have rendered me in my life. I pray and seek your guidance as I continue on my journey here on earth.

AMEN.

June Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 2

Scripture

 And David was the youngest: and the three eldest followed Saul.

15 But David went and returned from Saul to feed his father's sheep at Bethlehem.

Observation

David was the only brother who went back and did God's work. 

Application

God calls the right person for the job. Even though it may seem that you are not the first choice for the job but the job is certainly meant for you to carry out.  Do what God has called you to do. 

Prayer

Dear Lord,

thank you for setting out the path that is for me and guiding me along the way so that I am able to serve you all of my days.

AMEN

June Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 1

Scripture

Psalm 78:70-72King James Version (KJV)

70 He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:

71 From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.

72 So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

Observation

GOD knows your worth and will shower upon you his blessings. He will guide you and make you reach your potential. 

Application

Trust in the LORD to direct you to your maximum potential. He knows when it is your time to shine and has been cultivating you all this while. 

Prayer

Dear Lord,

I know that you want the best for me. Thank you for all your guidance and leading me to my true potential
