Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 2 - Day 2

Scripture
1 Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you. 12 May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. 13 May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.

Observation
The LORD is our strength. He is one who can make us change for the better. Lean on him and he gives you what you need to survive.

Application
Focus on GOD and let him work through you so that he can prepare you for entering in his kingdom when time comes.

Prayer
Dear LORD,
I give myself up to you . Lead me and show me what I need to do.
AMEN.

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 2 - Day 1

Scripture
We sent Timothy, who is our brother and co-worker in God’s service in spreading the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, 3 so that no one would be unsettled by these trials. For you know quite well that we are destined for them.

Observation

God movies one step before you. He knows what you need at every juncture of your life.

Application
Know that GOD has grand plans for us and if we follow and adhere to his course. He will provide for you all the way


Prayer
Dear GOD,
I am really blessed to have you supporting me all the way.

Thessalonians Bible Studies- Week 1 - Day 5

Scripture
19 For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you? 20 Indeed, you are our glory and joy.

Observation

God is our glory and Joy. He is our everything and the reason why we celebrate.

Application
Focus on the LORD. He will lead you out of darkness and on the right path.

Prayer
Dear LORD,
You are my main focus. You give me strength to carry on even when I am weary.
AMEN.

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 4

Scripture

encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.

13 And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe

Observation

It is a blessing to live according to what GOD wants of us.  Give thanks to him for all that he provides for us.

Application

The WORD works for people who believe in it. Seek meaning from the WORD and act on it .

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I'm really happy to entrust myself to you. You have blessed me more then I have expected.

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 3

Scripture
so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.

Observation
The genuine love of the Tessalonians for others pushed them to share about GOD with others through the way they lived their lives.

 Application
Love works wonders. It can change lives if we allow GOD's love to flow through us.

Prayer
 Dear LORD,
Give me the courage to live like the Tessalonians lived in the past. Worshiping and living according to your ways.
AMEN. 

Thessalonians - April Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 2

Scripture
For we know, brothers and sisters[a] loved by God, that he has chosen you, 5 because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake.

Observation

God selected you because he is certain of your ability. He has great expectations for you and that you will perform to your best ability.

Application
Live by the WORD and keep the faith like those that went before you. Show that the LORD lives through your daily actions.

Prayer
Dear LORD,
I'm blessed that you chose me and are willing to invest and nuture me.
Amen

Thessalonians- April Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 1

Scripture
We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. 3 We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Observation
We are very thankful  that the apostles prayed for us and are inspired by their love of GOD to pray for everyone. 

Application

Pray and give thanks to the LORD. Is is the LOVE that others have for him that help us build up our love for him too.

Prayer
Dear LORD,
I'm grateful that there are so many people praying for me through you.
AMEN

Fear and Anxiety- April Bible Studies- Week 6- Day 5

Scripture

Proverbs 3:5-8 New International Version (NIV)

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.[a]

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
    fear the Lord and shun evil.
8 This will bring health to your body
    and nourishment to your bones

Observation

GOD will be there to give you what you need to survive. Trust and believe that he is the one that will deliver you out of darkness and take care of you. 

Application

Submit to GOD all your worries and problems and he will show you the way that you should walk. He will keep you on the right path to him.

Prayer

 Dear GOD,

I'm really lucky to have you to lead and guide me through all the obstacles I face here on earth. 

AMEN

Fear and Anxiety- April Bible Studies- Week 6 - Day 4

Scripture
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror

Observation
Take action on what you hear from the WORD. Without any action there cannot be any improvement or growth in our spiritual walk.

Application
Focus on the doing and working on becoming the person that GOD expects us to be.

Prayer
Dear LORD,
Thanks for prodding me along and making me take action. Without your consistent nudging I will not have been able to progress so far.
AMEN.

Fear and Anxiety - April Bible Study- Week 6- Day 3

Scripture

Romans 12:21 New International Version (NIV)

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Observation

Do not fight evil with evil. Overcome it with GOD's armor.

Application.

Don't let the evil people and their hateful ways get the better of you. Continue to do good and they will get what they deserve in punishment.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

thank you for showing me the way not to stoop to the level of how these vermin function. 

AMEN.

Fear and Anxiety- April Bible Studies- Week 6- Day 2

Scripture

Proverbs 16:3 New International Version (NIV)

3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
    and he will establish your plans.

Observation

Trust in the LORD and he will take care of you. Let him know your wishes and he will make it come true.

Application

 Confide in the LORD and let him lead the way.  He will make things go well for you.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I am grateful that you are always there for me and making the journey a bit smoother each time.

Fear And Anxiety- April Bible Studies- Week 6 - Day 1

Scripture

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Observation

We need to put on our protective armor so that we can fight against all evil in this world which constantly preys on us. 

Application

Use the tools that GOD gives us to protect ourselves against harm. We need to guard ourselves so that we will not be defeated. 

 Prayer

 Dear LORD,

thank you for all the tools that you give us to protect ourselves in this evil climate.
