Truth over Lies- Week 6 - Day 5

Scripture

Philippians 4:8 New International Version (NIV)

8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Observation

Focus on the Good. Have positive thoughts and do not focus on negatives.

Application

Do what is needed and also focus on the GOOD around us. Keep good thoughts in your mind. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

help me focus on the GOOD. Keep negative and bad thoughts out of my mind.

AMEN. 

Truth over Lies- Week 6 - Day 4

Scripture

Psalm 25:5 New International Version (NIV)

5 Guide me in your truth and teach me,
    for you are God my Savior,
    and my hope is in you all day long.

Observation

Let GOD guide you. Leave your hope with him. 

Application

Seek GOD. He will be the one to help you navigate through obstacles. 

Prayer

Dear GOD , 

I put my lot with you. I know you will be the one who will see me through.

AMEN. 

Truth over lies- Week 6- Day 3

Scripture

John 8:31-32 New International Version (NIV)

Dispute Over Whose Children Jesus’ Opponents Are

31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Observation

As long as we believe in him. WE will be able to know the truth which will set us free from all these bondage.

Application

 Trust in the LORD our GOD and follow his teachings. Only by doing that will be able to be on the right path.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I hope to seek you more and more each day as my knowledge of your WORD grows.

Truth and Lies - Week 6- Day 1

Scripture
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

Observation
 Wear your battle armor provided by GOD so that you will be protected against all the EVIL schemes.

Application
Be prepare for battles that come your way. The EVIL one will try his best to make you waver and SIN against GOD. 

Prayer
Dear LORD,
I'm grateful that you have given me the armour  that I need to fight against the Devil.
AMEN. 

Truth over Lies- Week 5- Day 5

Scripture

Psalm 4:6-7 New International Version (NIV)

6 Many, Lord, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?”
    Let the light of your face shine on us.
7 Fill my heart with joy
    when their grain and new wine abound.

Observation 

It is LORD our GOD who will bring us much joy . With him in our life we will certainly prosper.

Application

 GOD  will bring us all that we need. He is the one to bring us prosperity

Prayer

Dear LORD,

thank you for providing me all that i need.

AMEN. 

Truth Over Lies - Week 5 - Day 3

Scripture

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 New International Version (NIV)

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Observation

We are constantly replenished in the LORD. Focus on him and we will get what is ours for eternity.

Application

Keep the faith.  We will get our time/space with GOD for all eternity. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I seek ye kingdom and to be with you forever.

Truth over Lies - Week 5- Day 2

Scripture

Treasures in Heaven

19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Observation

Don't hoard Material things. They are no value  for those who are interested in being in the kingdom of GOD.  Do Good instead.

Application

 Don't get cozy with the things on this world. Focus on cultivating your soul. Stick to your values/ virtues and do things that are pleasing in GOD's eyes. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I know that my stay here on earth is only temporarily.  Looking forward to being by your side .

Lies Over Truth- Week 5- Day 1

Scripture

Hebrews 13:5 New International Version (NIV)

5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;
    never will I forsake you.”[a]

Observation 

God will always be there for us. He  will never abandon us. 

Application

Stay away from the ways of the world. They will only cause you much hardship and pain. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I'm very grateful that you will not  abandon me and am always here for me.

AMEN. 

Lies Over Truth- Week 4- Day 5

Scripture

Isaiah 43:18-19 New International Version (NIV)

18 “Forget the former things;
    do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
    Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland.

Observation

Believe in the LORD. Focus on the present. Don't dwell on the PAST and pigeon yourself because of it.

Application

GOD creates miracles. You  have a lot to look forward to if you believe and follow him.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

thank you for helping me put aside the past so I can focus on the now.

AMEN. 

Lies Over Truth- Week 4- Day 4

Scripture

2 Corinthians 3:4-5 New International Version (NIV)

4 Such confidence we have through Christ before God. 5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.

Observation

Everything  comes from GOD. He is the one that makes us what we are today. 

Application

We are what we are because he lets us become what we can be.  There are so many things that we can do if we trust and follow the WORD.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

Thank you for your vote of confidence and making me competent.

Amen. 

Lies Over Truth- Week 4- Day 3

Scripture

John 15:5 New International Version (NIV)

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Observation

 We grow on GOD.  He is the one to nourish us with his WORD

Application

 Stay with the LORD . In him you are able to get around everything. You will blossom with his guidance.

Prayer
Dear LORD,

I'm glad that I am attached to you.  With you supplying me the nutrients that I need. I will grow and get better. 

AMEN. 

Truth over Lies- Week 4 - Day 1

Scripture
everyone who is called by my name,
    whom I created for my glory,
    whom I formed and made.”

Observation
We all come from GOD. He is the one who made us and fashion us to the way he sees fit.

Application
 Sing praise to GOD. He is the one who created you and design the path in which you are to walk.  Surrender all to him and let him take the lead.

Prayer
Dear LORD,
I'm really happy to have you as my guide and pillar of strength. I'm bless to have you in my life.
AMEN.

Truth over Lies- Week 3 - Day 5

Scripture

Psalm 92:12-14 New International Version (NIV)

12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,
    they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
13 planted in the house of the Lord,
    they will flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They will still bear fruit in old age,
    they will stay fresh and green,

1 Timothy 4:12 New International Version (NIV)

12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Observation

 Focus on doing good and you will bear fruit. Don't get swayed by the ways of the world or others who don't know better.

Application

Stay strong and focused on the path. GOD will give you the courage that you need to carry on and do his work. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

help keep me steadfast in my devotion to living according to your WORD.

Amen. 

Truth over Lies- Week 3 - Day 4

Scripture

Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.[a]

Observation

Believe in the LORD and trust in his words. He will remove all the obstacles that come to cloud up your path. Do not rely on the ways of the world.

Application

 It is not through your personal strength but relying on the strength that comes from GOD. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

let me lean on you . You are my pillar of strength and also guide. 

AMEN. 

Truth over Lies- Week 3 - Day 3

Scripture

Romans 5:8 New International Version (NIV)

8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Observations
God gave his life for us. He showed us  his undying love.

Application
For GOD has given us his life in Christ Jesus and shown us how great is his love.

Prayer
Thank you GOD for your undying love for me. I am really blessed.

Truth over Lies- Week 3- Day 2

Scripture

Benediction and Final Greetings

20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Observation

God gives you what you need so that you be able to serve him better.  He knows what you should have and how you can do his works here on earth.

Application

 Use the tools/ gifts that the LORD has given to you to good according to his will. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I know that all things come from you and that you will provide all that I need. I'm thankful for it.

AMEN. 

Truth over Lies- Week 3- Day 1

Scripture
 The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord?

Observation
The LORD is the one who gives you everything. He is the creator and the  one who controls all.

Application
It is through the LORD that everything is done.  He is the one who sets the plans for me and has control over all others.

Prayer
 Dear LORD,
thank you for all that you have given to me. I'm deeply grateful for all your blessings.
