November Bible Studies- Week 1 - Day 4

Scripture

 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 

Observation

God provides for all and he will take care of you. Do not lust after earthly things or waste your time worrying over nothing. 

Application

Seek GOD in whatever you do and he will give you the guidance you need to sort out any problems/ obstacles that you maybe facing in your life at the current moment. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

help me to seek YE first in everything that I do. And trust that you will help in whatever I do.

AMEN. 

November Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 3

Scripture

Ephesians 3:20-21

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Observation

Give GOD praise and show gratitude as he has given us power through his WORD. He has done wonders for us and we should  praise him always.

Application

Being thankful for what we have, the gifts and blessing that GOD has bestowed upon us are really plenty. Show appreciation for what you have. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

help me start off each day with a grateful heart.

November Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 2

Scripture

Philippians 4: 19

 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Observation

God has always provided for us and we too need to meet his needs as his followers. We too must show our parts and be thankful / grateful for the gifts that he has bestowed on us. 

Application

Show appreciation for all the gifts that you have been given. Pray and seek the truth and follow the WORD . Gratitude is what needs to radiate out from us so that we can really live our lives according to GOD's plan. 

Prayer

Dear God,

help me to show appreciation to you  for your gifts and to be grateful for all the GOOD that I have in my life. 

AMEN. 

Nov Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 1

Scripture

Genesis 22:13-14

 Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram[a] caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”

Observation

God provides you with whatever you need when you need it. He knows what is best for you and gives you what is required.

Application

Have faith in GOD that he knows what is good for you and trust in him. He has provided for you and will always be providing for you so believe in his WORD.  Worrying and stressing over things lead nowhere  and only make your life more complicated. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

help me entrust in you all my worries and hopes and continue to believe that you will provide me all that is needed.

AMEN. 

October Bible Studies- Week6 - Day 5

Scripture

 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which[a] the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

Observation

Be one with the LORD. There is nothing to afraid of by following the LORD. Living in the world we do not need to be of it and also do not be a show off. 

Application

GOD asked us to follow him and be like him. Not be boastful and brag about our journey with him. To separate ourselves from the earthly desires which cause us to sin. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

show me how to be a humble christian and lead my way the way you want it to be.

AMEN

October Bible Studies- Week 5- Day 4

Scripture

 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Observation

We certainly need to keep the faith. we may not see the results immediately  but it will certainly come. Continue to do good as this is what GOD wants us to do also. 

Application

Try to do GOOD as often as you can. Keep striving as even though  you may not see the results that you desire immediately. We will certainly get the harvest that we look for in time to come if we persist in our efforts.

Prayer

Dear GOD,

let me keep the faith and also be strong and determined to carry out what needs to be done till the end.

AMEN. 

October Bible Studies- Week 5- Day 3

Scripture

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction;whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 

Observation

You get what you sow. It's that simple. If you plant something that is rotten it will not bear fruit no give you the rewards that you desire. It is only by taking care of your seedling that it will bear fruit.

Application

Like a farmer looking forward to harvesting his bountiful crop we need to take special caution when planting the seeds in our fields. We need to choose wisely what we want to invest in and put in all effort to make sure that it does bear fruit. Our labor and toiling on this earth will lead us to reaping great rewards in heaven. 

Prayer 

Dear Lord,

Let me choose wisely what I wish to have in the garden. The variety of seeds to plant and how I would like them to enhance myself as a person. To fill myself up with color and goodness from the crops that I planted.
