Ruth August Bible Studies- Week 4- Day 4

Scripture
The women said to Naomi: “Praise be to the Lord, who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel! 15 He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age. For your daughter-in-law, who loves you and who is better to you than seven sons, has given him birth.”

Psalm 30:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 You turned my wailing into dancing;
    you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,

Observation

GOD redeemed Naomi and Ruth. He gave them a new family which would take care of them to old age.

Application

Trust that the LORD has something well planned out for you. He knows what you needs and will provide it for you.  Follow his plan and it will lead you to where you need to go. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I know you have the best in mind for me. I'm looking forward to the day when I be able to meet up with you in your kingdom.

AMEN. 

Ruth August Bible Studies- Week 4- Day 3

Scripture

Ruth 4:11-12 New International Version (NIV)

11 Then the elders and all the people at the gate said, “We are witnesses. May the Lord make the woman who is coming into your home like Rachel and Leah, who together built up the family of Israel. May you have standing in Ephrathah and be famous in Bethlehem. 12 Through the offspring the Lord gives you by this young woman, may your family be like that of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah.”

Observation

Everyone gave their blessing when things are done according to GOD's plan. Hardships endured and being obedient to GOD pays off.

Application

Listen to what GOD says to you. Heed his instructions and you will certainly be rewarded for your hard work.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I await your instructions and follow your plan that you have for me. 

AMEN.

Ruth August Bible Studies - Week 4- Day 1

Scripture

Then Boaz said, “On the day you buy the land from Naomi, you also acquire Ruth the Moabite, the[c] dead man’s widow, in order to maintain the name of the dead with his property.”

6 At this, the guardian-redeemer said, “Then I cannot redeem it because I might endanger my own estate. You redeem it yourself. I cannot do it.”

Observation

Everything was done according to GOD's plan.  He was the one who gave Ruth someone to rely on after her husband died.

Application.

Trust in the LORD that he will be doing everything for your benefit. He is one who knows what is best for you and will ensure that you get to where you have to if you follow him and take action. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I know that you have plans for me and will reveal them to me based on your timeline. 

AMEN. 

Ruth- August Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 5

Scripture

 So she lay at his feet until morning, but got up before anyone could be recognized; and he said, “No one must know that a woman came to the threshing floor.”

15 He also said, “Bring me the shawl you are wearing and hold it out.” When she did so, he poured into it six measures of barley and placed the bundle on her. Then he[a] went back to town.

Observation

Ruth did what she was suppose to do and was rewarded with the food. 

Application

God will reward you when you listen to him. Follow his instructions carefully. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

Am glad that you have help me all this while. I really blessed to have you in my life. 

AMEN. 

Ruth August Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 3

Scripture

In the middle of the night something startled the man; he turned—and there was a woman lying at his feet!

9 “Who are you?” he asked.

“I am your servant Ruth,” she said. “Spread the corner of your garment over me, since you are a guardian-redeemer[a] of our family.”

Observation

 Ruth did whatever her MIL told her to do without question as she knew it was for her benefit. 

Application

Trust in the LORD as he knows what is good for you. He will lead you to greatness.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I await your instructions . You have always been there for me and I know that you will protect and take care of me. 

AMEN.

Ruth- August Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 1

Scripture
Wash, put on perfume, and get dressed in your best clothes. Then go down to the threshing floor, but don’t let him know you are there until he has finished eating and drinking. 4 When he lies down, note the place where he is lying. Then go and uncover his feet and lie down. He will tell you what to do.”

Observation
Ruth followed what Naomi told her to do. She trusted in GOD and his plans for her. 

Application
Be steadfast in your trust for GOD. He knows what is best for you and will lead you all of the way. 

Prayer
 Dear LORD,
I am really blessed to have you as my guiding star. I know what you have is the best for me. 
AMEN. 

Ruth - August Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 5

Scripture
The Lord bless him!” Naomi said to her daughter-in-law. “He has not stopped showing his kindness to the living and the dead.” She added, “That man is our close relative; he is one of our guardian-redeemers.[a]”

Observation

Boaz was kind to others and he was blessed by GOD. Ruth was also blessed by his actions. 

Application
 Do GOOD as  GOD knows. He will reward you for your obedience. 

Prayer
Dear GOD,
I know how important it is to follow your work. I also know that you will give me my due rewards.
AMEN.
