Feb Bible Studies- Week 5- Day 1

Scripture

Ephesians 1: 17

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit[a] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

Observation

God  knows what is best for you and will reveal to you what you need to know in the appropriate time. 

Application

Ask and you will receive what you seek. God certainly is not one who will forsake us and he will give us clear directions if we earnestly seek his help. 

Prayer

Dear Lord,

I seek you on a daily basis and pray that you reveal your wisdom to me so that I be able to make sound decisions In your name I pray

Jan Bible Studies- Week 4- Day 5

Scripture
1 Thessalonians 5:17

17 pray continually,

Observation
Pray and you will receive the peace that you seek. Answers to the questions and you will find them.

Application
Pray and seek help in the LORD. He knows your worries and will help you tie through the difficulties that you face.


Prayer

Dear LORD,
I need you more then ever now. I offer up all my problems and troubles to you in prayer. I know that you will help me through the daily battles.

Jan Bible Studies- Week 4- Day 4

Scripture

Mark 11:24

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Observation

Pray and GOD will deliver what you ask for.  You have to appreciate whatever you receive to be able to keep it.

Application

Ask and you will receive. This is GOD's promise to us. We just need to keep the faith and believe that he delivers on his promises in his time. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I am grateful that you have kept your end of the deal and delivered on your promises. You are the my trusted guide and companion always.

Jan Bible Studies- Week 4- Day 3

Scripture

Luke 18:1,7

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up

And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?

Observation

Prayer is certainly very powerful. It can move mountains and cause miracles to occur. God does seek justice and give us the best. 

Application

Pray earnestly and frequently. Make it a part of your life.  Began the start of each day in Prayer communicating with the LORD. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

I've seen how prayer has cause things to happen and how it has helped make my life better. I'm thankful that I get to seek you in prayer and be close with you through my journey here on earth.

Jan Bible Studies- Week 4- Day 1

Scripture

Psalm 62

Trust in him at all times, you people;
    pour out your hearts to him,
    for God is our refuge.

Observation

Believe in GOD. He is the one who will protect us when we meet Storms in our lives.  He gives us the shelter and security that we require.

Application

Cast all your worries and problems to the LORD. He is the only one who can guide and support us in our time of need. 

Prayer

 Dear LORD,

I am entrusting all my worries and troubles to you. I trust that you will help me get through all the difficult times that I face.

AMEN. 

Jan Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 5

Scripture

As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

10 Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.

11 Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him

Observation

God will set right what is wrong. He will protect you from the evil men and their nastiness.  He won't let evil triumph over good. 

Application

Believe  in the LORD for he is just. He will ensure that  everything will happen based on his plan. 

Prayer

Dear  GOD,

  I know that you  have the best plan for me. You have been taking care of me and will continue to do so.

Jan Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 4

Scripture

Hebrew 13:15

Hebrews 13:15New International Version (NIV)

15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.

Observation

Praise be to GOD in all his glory. Use your words and actions to profess of his greatness. 

Application

God deserves to be praised. He  has been there for us and is constant there to take care and guide us as we journey here on earth. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

Let me praise your goodness daily. You have brought the light into my life and I'm grateful for your guidance.

Jan Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 3

Scripture

Philippians 4: 6

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 

Observation

Everything happens in GOD's time. It is not based on our own timing and schedule but his. 

Application

Cast all your worries to the lord and he will give you the answers / solutions that you are seeking. Pray for his guidance and listen to the messages that he gives you. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

help me keep my cool and patience while I deal with the storms that are in my  life.  Give me the confidence and tools to see me through.

Jan Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 2

Scripture

Isaiah 6:5

Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

Observation

God comes to us even though we are unworthy. He values us and knows that still wants us despite our imperfections. 

Application

Show gratitude to the LORD as he has not discriminated against us. He accepts us for what we are and is there for us. 

Prayer

Praise the LORD for he doesn't forsake anyone. He comes to us and shows us what Glory and blessings that he has for us.

Jan Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 1

Scripture

Psalm 145:1-3

A psalm of praise. Of David.

1 I will exalt you, my God the King;
    I will praise your name for ever and ever.
2 Every day I will praise you
    and extol your name for ever and ever.

3 Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
    his greatness no one can fathom.

Observation

Praise be to GOD for all his Glory. He is certainly deserving of our worship and praise. Show gratitude to the LORD for all the gifts that he has showered upon us. 

Application

Praise GOD daily. Start each day in prayer and be close to the LORD. He is the one who will be there for you always. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

Great is your name. Your GLORY is abundant and mercy from you overflowing.  You are the one that deserve the most from me and have always been there for me. I thank you for all you have done for me.

Jan Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 5

Scripture

John 15:1-5

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Observation

We come from GOD and are the extensions to him. Like a plant if they break off from their source of nourishment they are dead. 

Application

Stay grounded in FAITH. Being together with GOD and he will make all things happen for you. He is our source of Power, our strength and provider.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

help me stay grounded in you. Keep my focus on your word and away from the temptations of this world.

AMEN. 

Jan Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 4

A Prayer for the Ephesians

14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family[a] in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,

Observation

Call out when you need the LORD's help and he will send his spirit to be with you. To guide you and to give you what you require. 

Application

Prayer is certainly very important.  It is a tool which you can use to seek help that you need. GOD listens and will protect his sheep. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

I need you now more then ever to guide me through the difficult decisions which I have to make in my life.  I seek your help and enlightenment.

Scripture

Acts 9:40

40 But Peter put them all outside, and knelt down and prayed; and turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.

Observation

God could raise up people from the dead. This is evidence that he too will raise us up when the time comes for us to join him in his kingdom. 

Application

Prayer can makes miracles happen. It is what is needed to change the world and perception of things around us.  It moves mountains and can make what seems impossible happen.  Therefore indulge in prayer and seek the LORD in whatever you do. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,
I'm honored to receive you blessings and grateful to start each new day seeking you through your WORD.

Jan Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 2

Scripture

Mark 1:35New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Prays in a Solitary Place

35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Observation

Jesus too starts of his day in prayer. To reunite  with his father through prayer.

Application

Pray and seek the Lord as you start each new day.  He will give you the comfort that you seek. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I seek to start of each day with engaging in conversation with you. I know that you will give me the guidance that I seek.

Jan Bible Studies- Week 2- Day 1

Scripture

1 Timothy 2: 8

8 Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.

Observation

Praying is what you need to do on a daily basis. It is the way you connect with GOD. 

Application

Wake up each day with a prayer.  Start each day seeking GOD's guidance and be grateful to him. Through prayer you will gain the peace that you seek. 

Prayer

Dear GOD,

Praying to you frequently has really helped me see much clarity. I seek your guidance in prayer to give me the answers that I need.

Jan Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 5

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Observation

Prayer and leaning on the WORD will give one the understanding that one seeks.  It is by seeking the lord that we find what need.

Application

Seek the lord. He gives you the clarity that you need in your life. Especially through the difficult moments. 

Prayer

Dear LORd,

I  seek you. You are the only one that can help me overcome all the obstacles that I face in my life.

Jan Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 4

Scripture

Observation

God deserves our praise. He the almighty one who favors us and showers upon us his blessings. 

Application

Start each day with a grateful heart. Be thankful and praise GOD for all the blessings that he has given to you. By doing so you have a positive mindset and am better equip to face each new day. 

Prayer

Dear Lord,

I sing praises to you as it lifts up my spirit. i am grateful to have you as my rock in my life .

Jan Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 3

Scripture

Jeremiah 10:6-7New International Version (NIV)

6 No one is like you, Lord;
    you are great,
    and your name is mighty in power.
7 Who should not fear you,
    King of the nations?
    This is your due.
Among all the wise leaders of the nations
    and in all their kingdoms,
    there is no one like you.

Observation

God is ever present. He is almighty and has control over everything here on earth. 

Application

Submit to the LORD. Give him the due respect that he deserves. He is mighty and is able to support you in your need. 

Prayer

Dear Lord,

I'm really grateful to have you in my life. Your strength and power comforts me and your WORD guides me in my journey here on earth.
