July Bible Studies- Week 8 - Day 4

Scripture

Jeremiah 17:7-8King James Version (KJV)

7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lordis.

8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit

Observation

The person who trusts the LORD will be blessed. He will be blossoming like a tree. All obstacles and difficulties will be overcome. It will not discourage him. 

Application

Put your trust in the LORD our GOD and it will never go wrong. He will make you reach your full potential.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I put my trust in you. I'm sure that you will bring me to my greatest potential and make me shine in your glory. 

AMEN. 

July Bible Studies- Week 8 - Day 3

Scripture
2 Thessalonians 3:3-5

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

Observation
The LORD is there for us. He will protect us and guide us aong the way.

Application
Trust in the lord as he will keep you safe. He knows that you need to be protected and will protect you always. 

Prayer
Dear GOD ,
thank you for being there to protect me. I wish to stay in your refuge forever.
Amen

July Bible Studies- Week 7- Day 4

Scripture

Matthew 10:29-31King James Version (KJV)

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Observation

God knows who you are and everything about you. He values you. 

Application

know your worth. You are valuable do not believe that you are worthless. There are many people who try to discount your true value. Do not let these scum debase you.

PRayer

Dear LORD,

thanks for thinking so highly about me and valuing me as an individual. 

AMEN

July Bible Studies- Week7- Day 3

Scripture

 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Observation

 God shows favor on his son.  He announces to everyone who he is and how we have been in relation to Christ Jesus.

Application

God knows all that we have done and is pleased with our work. Do continue listening to the WORD and following in the footsteps of Jesus. 

Prayer 

Dear LORD,

I'm really grateful that you came into this world for me. Shine your light on me as I live your WORD.

Amen.

July Bible Studies- Week 6- Day 3

Scripture

his is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Observation

Jesus came down to earth for us. He is here for us.. even the sinner.

Application

GOD has accepted us despite our shortcomings. We too should embrace him fully.

Prayer

Dear LORD ,

I'm blessed that you came down to earth to save me. 

AMEN.

July Bible Studies- Week 6 - Day 1

Scripture
2 Samuel 11:27
 And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the Lord.

Observation

Do not covet what that is not yours. God will not be please with you.

Application
Do what is acceptable by the LORD and based on his WORD. Greed and lust will only lead to your downfall. Do not envy nor steal from others.


Prayer
Dear Lord,
Help me to be contented with my LOT and also not hanker over what others have. The grass is not always greener on the other side nor suitable for me.
