Ruth 1: 16,17

¹⁶ But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. ¹⁷ Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.

Observation

Ruth shows her loyalty to the family she married into. She makes it know since it was her choice to enter this family it is here she will stay till the end of days.

Application

God will bless all those who loyally follow him and his word. Have faith that the LORD will deliver you from all troubles and obstacles that you are facing.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

help me develop rock like faith like RUTH who trusts you with her whole heart.
