Scripture
2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
Observation
God tells us to spread the WORD and try to share its power with others. There are many false preachers around so be careful who you listen to.
Application
Know the word so that you know who is saying the truth and how to counter any illogical preaching from false prophets. Stand firm and not be swayed by the Devil and his minions.
Prayer
Dear LORD,
Help me understand your teachings so that I be able to defend it if the need arises.
