Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 6 - Day 5

Scripture
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.


Observation
GOD is the one who can give you peace. And keep it with you. 

Application
 Lean on GOD for PEACE. He is the only one who can settle your heart.  No one else can do it.

Prayer
Dear LORD,
I treasure the peace that you give me. IT is so precious and I hope that it stays with me forever.
AMEN 

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 6 - Day 4

Scripture
As for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good

Observation
Focus on doing Good and not evil.  

Application
Know what you should be doing and go ahead and do it.  Don't focus on things that are not GOOD and follow people who do wrong. 

Prayer
 Dear LORD,
Thank you for reminding me to continue doing GOOD.
AMEN. 

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 6 - Day 2

Scripture
It was not because we do not have that right, but to give you in ourselves an example to imitate.


Observation
What we do is our deliberate decision. Set a good example for others.

Application
Make an effort to conduct yourself in a manner which is acceptable by GOD. Do not be lazy.

Prayer
Dear LORD,
help me do the right thing and make me an example for others to follow.
Amen.

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 5 - Day 5

Scripture
But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits[a] to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.

Observation
God chose us for a reason. He will save us if we believe and trust in him and follow his WORD.

Application
Be Grateful that you were selected by GOD. He has chosen you and will save you if you believe in him. 

Prayer
Dear LORD,
I'm blessed to have been chosen by you to be saved.
AMEN

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 5 - Day 3

Scripture
For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.

Observation
Evil seems to be getting the upper hand at times but they will never be the final victor.

Application

God is always there and will be there rein in the lawless in due time. They will get their just desserts.

Prayer
Dear Lord,
I'm glad that you are there for me ..to protect me from evil and keep me and the kids safe.
AMEN.

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 5 - Day 2

Scripture
 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.

Observation
People who do wrong and try to deceive others will be punished by GOD.  They will be destroyed in the end.

Application
 Be prudent and don't blindly believe what others say.  Trust in GOD and follow his WORD.

Prayer
Dear LORD,
help me keep my eyes open so that I know who is telling the truth and not to be deceived by others.

AMEN.

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 5 - Day 1

Scripture
not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.

Observation
Don't believe the naysayers which give false claims and proclamations. The LORD has yet to come to deliver us. 

Application
 Trust that the LORD will come again. Don't believe in what those false prophets say that he has already came and gone. 

Prayer
Dear LORD,
I await the day you come again in all your glory. AMEN. 

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 4 - Day 5

Scripture

2 Thessalonians 1:11

11 With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.

Observation

God wants you to live by FAITH and his WORD. He will hold true his promises to you if you do right by him. 

 Application

 Make yourself worth of GOD. Do not do things which will only attract evil and make yourself less worthy of GOD. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I really hope to be worthy of your calling. You have brought about with you so much light into my life. I am truly blessed. 

AMEN. 

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 4 - Day 4

Scripture

 on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.

Observation
God will be coming and showing everyone that he is JUSTICE and will  destroy all the evil doers. 

Application
 Continue to believe as he is truly will come to be glorified. He will prove to you that he exists and he will write all wrongs.

Prayer
Bless be to GOD our Father , 
He will and has always delivered what he promises.
AMEN. 

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 4 - Day 3

Scripture

God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

Observation

God will give evil doers their just desserts. He also will right all wrongs that had been done to you

He will bring justice

Application

God will seek revenge on your behalf. Evil doers will not have a good time and go scott -free.  They will suffer for bullying and treating others badly. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I await the day that you will exact revenge on my behalf on all those who were unkind and damaging to me and the kids. 

AMEN. 

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 4 - Day 2

Scripture

Thanksgiving and Prayer

3 We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters,[a] and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing. 4 Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.

Observation

Give thanks to GOD. He strengthens our faith and moves rocks. 

Application

Your faith can move mountains and save yourself and others. Keep the faith always.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I rely on your support to keep the faith. To grow more and more with you each day.

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 4 - Day 1

Scripture
Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.


Observation
God grants you Grace and peace. 

Application
Bask in the grace and peace that GOD gives you. Enjoy his presence and be with him. 

Prayer
Thank you LORD for your grace and peace that you showered down on me.

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 3 - Day 5

Scripture
 The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.

Observation
God is always faithful.He never fail to deliver whatever he promises.

Application
God will never rescind on what he promises. He will always be there for us and keep us safe from harm and evil.

Prayer
Dear LORD,
Thank you for always keeping your promises. You have always been there for me and I really appreciate it.
AMEN. 

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 3 - Day 4

Scripture

And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Observation

God wants you to help others and let them know what is acceptable and unacceptable by him. Pray continually for his guidance. 

Application

 Follow the word strictly. GOD doesn't want you to do evil and harm others and yourself in the process. Continuously rejoice and pray. Show gratitude for all that you are given. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I thank you for sharing your wisdom with me.

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 3 - Day 3

Scripture

1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 New International Version (NIV)

9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

Observation

God plan for us to be together. He supports us and we should support others too. 

Application

Help others as GOD has helped you. He only wants the best for all his people.  GOD doesn't want anyone to suffer.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I'm taking heed from you  in encouraging others and trying to build up those around me as you have helped me. 

AMEN. 

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 3 - Day 2

Scripture

But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

Observation

Let us stay sane and not indulge in earthly evils . Remain steadfast in our LOVE for GOD 

Application

Trust and follow the LORD and do not be swayed by the naysayers and evildoers who want to tear you away from GOD. Use his WORD and LOVE for you as a shield against all evil. 

Prayer

Dear LORD  ,

thank you for the armour that you give me so that I can remain sober as I await your return.

AMEN. 

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 3 - Day 1

Scripture 

for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night

Observation

You do not know what the timeline is when GOD will come again. Therefore be prepared.

Application

Do not be slack in your preparation for the coming of GOD. He will come again in due time. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

I'm awaiting for your 2nd arrival. I'm looking forward to uniting with you again. 

AMEN 

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 2 - Day 5

Scripture

Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 1

Observation
There  is hope in this world. GOD will bring back those who we love and hold dear who have died. 

Application
Keep the HOPE.  GOD will raise the dead in time to come. There will be joy and celebration when it happens. 

Prayer
Dear LORD,
thanks for giving me hope. With something to look forward to surviving the trials that are put to me here on earth is more bearable. 
AMEN. 

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 2 - Day 4

Scripture

 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, 12 so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.

Observation
Do what you can by yourself. You do not need to seek validation from others to lead your own life.

Application
One should seek validation from within and from GOD only. We should not focus so much on the whims and fancies of others (Who may not have our best interest at heart) but on doing GOD's WORD and being true to yourself.

Prayer
Dear LORD ,
teach me to be humble. Let me not seek the approval of others but only you.
AMEN.

Thessalonians April Bible Studies- Week 2 - Day 3

Scripture
 It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should learn to control your own body[a] in a way that is holy and honorable, 5 not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God;

Observation
 Do not let yourself indulge in wicked earthly pleasures of the skin. It will only cause you to suffer from diseases and kill your chance to be with GOD for eternity. 

Application
Stay true to the WORD and follow GOD's way not the Devil's. That is the only way you can be saved.

Prayer
Dear LORD,
thank you for opening my eyes and keeping me away from the temptations of the Devil.  Knowing you is the best thing that has happened to me.
