not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.
Observation
Don't believe the naysayers which give false claims and proclamations. The LORD has yet to come to deliver us.
Application
Trust that the LORD will come again. Don't believe in what those false prophets say that he has already came and gone.
Prayer
Dear LORD,
I await the day you come again in all your glory. AMEN.
