Ecclesiastes 5:4-5
When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. 5 It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it.
Observation
Keep all promises that you make to GOD and fulfil what you say you will do.
Application
Don't give any empty promises. If you do promise anything do carry them out and do what you say you will do. It is only fair to keep your part of your bargain to GOD.
Prayer
Dear GOD,
help me keep steadfast to my vows to you. Do what I say I will do and also not give any empty promises.
AMEN.
