Ecclesiastes 8:14-15
14 Here’s something that happens all the time and makes no sense at all: Good people get what’s coming to the wicked, and bad people get what’s coming to the good. I tell you, this makes no sense. It’s smoke.
15 So, I’m all for just going ahead and having a good time—the best possible. The only earthly good men and women can look forward to is to eat and drink well and have a good time—compensation for the struggle for survival these few years God gives us on earth.
Observation.
Sometime it seems that the Wicked are enjoying themselves tremendously while the Good are suffering instead. It seems seriously unfair however GOD certainly does want us to have a good time and it will not be as short lived as the wicked have here on earth.
Application
Even though it may seem that the wicked are getting the better deal at the moment but GOD will shower his blessings on us and provide us with a GOOD time in the after life beyond the years here on earth.
Prayer
Dear GOD,
help me to keep steadfast to your word and remind myself that I'm building up credits with you in the next life.
AMEN.
