Scripture
5 Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, 2 older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.
But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God.
Observation
God wants us to try to treat people around us well and don't have any ill intentions towards them.
Application
Treat others how you would like others treat you but at the same time don't be a pushover and carry out GOD's WORD. It is better to do things right by Christ then by man as he is the ultimate judge.
Prayer
Dear LORD,
Help me treat people fair and just while at the same time carry out your WORD + not get manipulated by evil.
AMEN.
