Scripture
Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. 24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
Observation
Don't engage others with stupid/ frivolous arguments. Do not use their harsh ways back at them but instead counsel them about the need to seek the truth so they can turn away from the devil.
Application
Do not be tempted to engage in verbal disputes with crazy as they are not only a waste of time but of your energy also. Not everyone is as reasonable and may have been "captured" by the evils of the world however do attempt to guide them towards the light.
Prayer
Dear LORD,
help me steer away from unwanted chaos and conflicts and focus on living the truth based on your WORD.
