Broken and Redeemed - March Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 3

Scripture

Psalm 34: 17-18

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
    he delivers them from all their troubles.
¹⁸ The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
    and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Observation

God response and will save those who lean on him. He is always there to bolster us.

Application

stay true to the path and GOD will be there for you. He will save you from your worries and raise your spirit

Prayer

Dear LORD,

thank you for being there for me and for guiding me constantly.

Broken and Redeemed - Feb Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 2

Scripture
My soul is weary with sorrow;
    strengthen me according to your word.

Observation
Sometimes we get so tired that we have to surrender ourselves to the LORD

Application
Follow the WORD and you will get your JOY which you seek. You will not be bogged down by all the earthly demands on you and your soul.

Prayer
Dear LORD,
help me keep to your WORD and remove the weariness and sorrow from my life.
AMEN.

Broken and Redeemed- Feb Bible Studies- Week 1- Day 1

Scripture

Ruth 1:20-21

Don’t call me Naomi,^[b]” she told them. “Call me Mara,^[c] because the Almighty^[d] has made my life very bitter. ²¹ I went away full, but the Lord has brought me back empty. Why call me Naomi? The Lord has afflicted^[e] me; the Almighty has brought misfortune upon me.”

Observation

One can easily get disgruntle when things don't go your way. Nothing is forever. 

Application

Everything happens for a reason. You may not understand it at the moment but then GOD is preparing you for something better to enter your life by taking away what shouldn't be there.

Prayer

 Dear GOD give me the wisdom to understand your ways and also let me know how you want me to carry out your plan.

Scripture

Saying 21

³ By wisdom a house is built,
    and through understanding it is established;
⁴ through knowledge its rooms are filled
    with rare and beautiful treasures

Observation

Through knowledge then will one be able to  built a strong foundation. Through reading one gains profound richness. 

Application

Soak yourself in constant education. It will help you build up a sturdy house both physically and spiritually. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

help me to constantly seek new knowledge  and improve on my existing knowledge with different experiences.

Scripture 
Proverbs 8;11
for wisdom is more precious than rubies,
    and nothing you desire can compare with her

Observation
Knowledge is power. It is supreme above all earthly desires.

Application
Seek knowledge as it is the most enriching. It is much better then all worldly possessions. 

Prayer
Dear GOD,
lead me to constantly seek new knowledge and to improve upon my wisdom.
AMEN.

Walking in Wisdom- Feb Bible Studies- Week 6 - Day 3

Scripture

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;

    but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

Observation

Beauty means nothing if the heart is not pure nor is one a follower of God. 

Application

Listen and follow the WORD. It will make you a more attractive person then just physical beauty and false charm.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

Help me to shine both inside and outside.

AMEN.

Scripture
³ Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
    bind them around your neck,
    write them on the tablet of your heart.
⁴ Then you will win favor and a good name
    in the sight of God and man

Observation

Do what is right and you will earn your respect and acknowledgement from both GOD and man.

Application

Stay truthful and surround yourself with love for GOD. It will only bring you good.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

let me be in your favor. Keep me safe all through my days.

Scripture
Proverbs 2:7
⁷ He holds success in store for the upright,
    he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,

Observation
God provides for those who are good.  He protects those that are under his care.

Application
Keep clear of devious ways and stay to the path. In this way you be able to be under his protection.

Prayer
 Dear LORD,
Keep me upright and protect me always

Scripture Proverbs  3:27
²⁷ Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,

Observation
Give praise and recognition where due. Do not be stingy in acknowledging yours and other's achievements.

Application
 Show appreciation and praise to others for their good work and contributions

Prayer
Dear LORD,
help me be generous in my praise towards others.

Scripture
Proverbs 4:23
Above all else, guard your heart,     for everything you do flows from it.

Observation
take good care of your heart as everything evolves from it. 


Application
Keep your heart pure. Take care what you fill it up with. Make sure that it is only the best!!

Prayer
Dear LORD,
Help me keep my heart pure and remove any potential threats of viruses and diseases from it.
AMEN

Walking in Wisdom- Feb Bible Studies- Week 5- Day 3

Scripture
But a man who commits adultery has no sense;
    whoever does so destroys himself

Observation
Do not do what is unethical. It will only bring about bad karma on you.

Application
Do not kill your relationship and marriage with lusting over pleasures  of the flesh.  It is not worth it.

Prayer
 Dear LORD,
Keep me away from such WEAK men who only bring downfall onto their family.

AMEN. 

Walking in Wisdom- Feb Bible Studies- Week 5- Day 2

Scripture

Proverbs 23:20

Do not join those who drink too much wine
    or gorge themselves on meat

Observation

Do not over indulge in eating, drinking and be merry. This will lead to your destruction.

Application

Eat and drink in moderation. Keep healthy and not be obsessive  with food and beverages. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

help me be prudent in my nutrition intake in check and keep me healthy.

AMEN.

Scipture
Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain;
    it takes away the life of those who get it

Observation

Evil people will get their just desserts. They will not succeed in the end.

Application
Don't hanker after things which seem to be good in appearance but in actuality is rotten to the core.  Not everything that you see is the truth.

Prayer
Dear Lord,,
Help me keep far away from the wicked and not let me be swayed by their false promises.
AMEN.

Scripture

22 A good name is more desirable than great riches;
    to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.

Observation

Having a GOOD name will certainly help one in life must better then material wealth.

Application

Choose how you are being referred to wisely. Use a name that really shows your real ability and gives credibility to you as a person.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

help me choose a name that brings glory to your name.

AMEN.

Scripture

A generous person will prosper;
    whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

Observation

Good things will happen to Good people. If you are kind an generous to others.

Application

Do be helpful and generous to others and you will get multiple blessings from the LORD. Help to improve others so that you too can improve yourself.

Prayer

Dear GOD,

help me to develop my generous spirit so that I will be able to refresh others and be refreshed by you.

Walking in Wisdom- Feb Bible Studies- Week 4- Day 3

Scripture

Proverbs 3:9Good News Translation (GNT)

9 Honor the Lord by making him an offering from the best of all that your land produces.

Observation

Show appreciation for the LORD by doing what is right by him. Offer him the best of yourself.

Application

 You serve the best that you have to your most esteem guest, what more to GOD your father. He deserves the best from you as he gives you the best too.

Prayer

Dear LORD,

thank you for giving me all the best. I in return will do the same too.

Walking in Wisdom- Feb Bible Studies- Week 4- Day 2

Scripture

Proverbs 11:18

A wicked person earns deceptive wages,
    but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.

Observation

Evil will never succeed. It may look on the seurface that they are getting the upper hand but it is far from the truth.

Application

 Be honest in all your dealings. Your reward will be bountiful if you are truthful and honest in all your dealings. GOD rewards the GOOD and punishes the evil. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

keep me on the path of the rightousness. It is not easy to be walking in the light with you but this is the path I have chosen. Help me in my walk with you.

Walking in Wisdom- Feb Bible Studies- Week 4- Day 1

Scripture

Proverbs 13:4Good News Translation (GNT)

4 No matter how much a lazy person may want something, he will never get it. A hard worker will get everything he wants.

Obervation

One needs to work hard to get what they desire or else it will only be a dream.

Application

There is no pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. One needs to work hard and be dilligent so that they can achieve their goals. If you don't put in the effort you will not reap the results.

Prayer

Dear LORD, 

help me remain dilligent and work hard towards getting my goals. It is not only the process but working towards reaching the end goals.

AMEN.

Walking in Wisdom- Feb Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 5

Scripture
If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat;
    if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.

Observation
Do what is right to the person even though he may be your enemy

Application
Kill the other person with kindness. It doesn't pay to exact vengance on others nor return eye for eye by stooping to the other person's level. However don't go overboard and  compromise yourself in the process. 

Prayer
Dear LORD,
help me treat my enemy with kindness while at the same time not be taken advantage by them.
AMEN. 

Walking with Wisdom- Feb Bible Studies- Week 3- Day 4

Scripture

Proverbs 22:6Good News Translation (GNT)

6 Teach children how they should live, and they will remember it all their life.

Observation

It is important that one shows by example how to live Christian lives so that the kids can follow.

Application

Show and personally live the life that you want the kids to live so that they are able to emulate you. 

Prayer

Dear LORD,

show me how to be the best example for my children. To lead them in living Christian lives.
