Scripture
But be sure you live out the message and do not merely listen to it and so deceive yourselves. 23 For if someone merely listens to the message and does not live it out, he is like someone who gazes at his own face in a mirror.
Observation
Take action and not just listen to the messages given out by god. Not taking action will only be to your detriment.
Application
Follow and execute the actions required to carry out the message. You will not benefit if you are idle and refuse to do anything after hearing the message.

Dear Lord,
help me remain active. AMEN.
