Scripture
10 When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. 11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.12 And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.
Observation
the 3 visitors who came and see Jesus brought him gifts. They were also warned of impending dangers and not to go back to Harold who will slaughter them.
Application
Hope comes into the world like the birth of a baby. God does protect us and keep us safe if we believe in his WORD.
Prayer
Dear GOD, thank you for taking care of me and showing me the pathway when the light seems dim.
AMEN.
