2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive,disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
observation
Many people worship material items rather then GOD. Don't associate with evil.
Application
Don't be influenced by people who are fake Christian who twist and turn the word of GOD. Preach their own version - prosperity bible instead of really following the WORD of GOD. There are many people who deliberately want to make use of religion for their own screwed up agenda. Stay away from them and stay on the right path.
Prayer
Dear LORD,
keep me away from these devils who have no morals and are delusional to the extend that they still believe they are right even though they are outright in the wrong. Protect me and make these people depart from my life.
